Family Physician

Are you a compassionate and energetic physician looking for a great team to join?

Camelback Health Care is a proactive family practice that integrates wellness to achieve favorable health outcomes for its patients. We are a evidence based family practice with guidelines and protocols aimed at treating patients uniformly with reproducible results. We are a team of two physicians, a nurse practitioner, aesthetician, and cosmetic nurse injector to provide our cutting edge brand of proactive family medicine.

We are looking for a board certified family physician with keen interest in family medicine, wellness, preventive health care, and chronic disease management to join our growing practice. An ideal candidate will be compassionate, team player, and can work within the system of the practice. A strong work ethics and desire to succeed is critical.

Our state-of-the-art facility resides in a modern 7100 square feet office with 13 treatment rooms. We are a paperless office with high tech amenities and us e-MDs EHR system. Our office is beautiful and is geared towards patient satisfaction, comfort, and convenience. On site laboratory by Lab Corp is present for patient convenience and compliance.

Interested candidates must have the following criteria met:

  • Board Certified by American Board of Family Medicine
  • Licensed to practice in Arizona with no board sanctions or negative history
  • Full DEA License
  • 3 year family practice residency
  • No prior history of malpractice suits or pending litigation
  • At least 2 years of private practice experience desired but will consider highly motivated recent residency graduates
  • Strong desire to succeed with proven leadership and team work capabilities
  • Ability to handle constructive criticism and self learner
  • Strong interest in hormone balancing, preventive health care, and wellness

We offer excellent salary, competitive benefits, and work hours. A typical work-week consists of 4 days of clinic with 1 day administrative day. No on-call requirement. No hospital work. Average patient volume is 28. Medical Health Insurance is paid 50% by the practice, along with dental, and vision. We offer limited long term disability and life insurance paid by the practice. Full malpractice coverage paid for by the practice. CME allowance as 10 days paid time off.

Family Nurse Practitioner

Patients love us and we are growing! We have immediate openings for the right provider. The qualified applicant will perform pro-active family medicine at Camelback Health Care. Interested candidates should have a strong back ground and desire to be the best provider with emphasis on patient care, customer service, and viewing the patient in a comprehensive and holistic manner. Ideal candidate will be motivated, high energy, caring, and interested in performing minor office surgical procedures. We offer wellness programs inclduing, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, Women’s Care, IUD, minor dermatological procedures, weight management, and of course family medicine for all ages.

Medical Front Office Reception. We want warm friendly customer service oriented individuals who are interested in helping patients feel welcome at our practice. Ideal candidates will possess at least 2 years of experience, must possess a medical assistants certification and degree. Must understand insurance, copays, deductibles, and scheduling. Medical Billing Coder. Ideal candidate will be passionate about details and coding. Must possess at least 5 years of experience and CPC preferred but not necessary. Must have full understanding of ICD-9 and ICD-10 trained or capable. This is a part time position that can lead to full time. Ideal candidates will be involved in handling scrubbing of ICD-9 codes, resolve coding related issues, work concurrently and function as a biller. Additional duties will include handling problem accounts and handling patient billing questions, as well as light scheduling work as necessary. Interested candidates must be problem solvers and is diplomatic in nature when handling difficult billing cases. Must understand AR and collections.
