Q. Does laser hair removal hurt?
The treatment causes minimal to no discomfort. Any discomfort is described by patients as a very slight snapping sensation like a mild rubber band against the skin. There may be slight redness or mild swelling after treatment but this is very rare and will subside within 24 hours after treatment.
Q. How many treatments are required?
Results vary by each individual patients. It all depends on which hair is in telophase or active growth phase. The inactive hair follicles will not be removed until it is active. Therefore, most patients enjoy results in 6 treatments. Your provider will talk to you about variables and complete procedural guidelines that may affect each individual results.
