Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some common questions we have received about our weight loss programs. If you have a question and do not see answer provided on this site please contact us.
1. Will insurances pay for my weight loss treatment?
Most insurances will not cover the cost of weight loss treatments so our programs are cash based. We want to make our treatments as affordable as possible and are very competitive in our pricing. Financing is also available through CareCredit® which offers healthcare financing.
2. How much do you charge for all of these services?
We are very competitive in our pricing. Our goal is to make sure these services are accessible to all of our patients who need or want them. We can discuss the pricing when you make an appointment to thoroughly discuss your options. We want our patients to be thoroughly educated before they make a decision on their weight loss program. We do not want our patients to determine their options based on price alone. Besides, most of our patients reading this section has relatively good idea of what every other clinics charge.
3. Do you offer financing?
Yes. We offer this through CareCredit® and offer 6 month 0% financing.
4. Why do I want to consider MIC shots?
No two patients are alike. Some patients may respond better to this Lipotropic method and many of our patients have done well under this program as opposed to the HCG program.
5. How often do I get MiC shots?
It is usually given once per week until desired weight level has been achieved. However, it is not uncommon to get twice per week injections.
6. What medical foods do you utilize?
We utilize the leader in the industry. Optifast from Nestle®. These programs have helped thousands of patients lose weight and keep it off at major bariatric centers in the U.S.
7. Why is your practice so different from weight loss centers or med spas that offer these services?
We are unique in that our core foundation is first and foremost as your primary care physicians that are passionate about optimizing your health. We long ago concluded that it is not just necessary to keep patients healthy or from getting ill. We have to be proactive about our quest for health. In this case, we want to maintain integrated balance. We strive to holistically ensure our patients are afforded the best chance for maintaining good health and achieving it if they have some health issues. We are one stop shop that cares for the most important part of this service: the patient. Our patients rave about us, shouldn’t you find out why?
